Twin Cities StartupWeekend EDU: Recap and Finals

Steven Wellvang and Christopher Nyren of Educelerate (and its fast growing Twin Cities meetup) had the pleasure of organizing Twin Cities StartupWeekend EDU along with the classroom technology integration specialist Kristin Daniels of TIES. With the support of 30 other coaches, judges and volunteers, we welcomed 85 participants who with support from our facilitator Seij Takamura (from StartupWeekend headquarters, though a Minnesota native), delivered over 25 separate pitches on opening night. From this controlled chaos of “PitchFire,” we formed 8 final teams to work through the Weekend toward our final demos.
